Executive Team
Stephen Schork
Principal & Editor
Following a successful career on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Stephen Schork transitioned to an upstairs trading operation. He quickly realized that the demise of open outcry eliminated the transparency of deal flow. In response to this void, Stephen developed proprietary multivariate probabilistic algorithms to identify optimal ranges at which to trade energy products and hedge exposure.
In 2005, Stephen co-founded The Schork Group (SCHORK), the energy industry’s premier provider of price-range forecasting and objective fundamental, quantitative, and technical analysis. For more than 16 years, energy professionals have relied on Stephen’s methodologies to improve economic performance while managing risk.
Stephen’s forthright approach to benchmarking past projections against current market activity has established him as one of the industry’s most respected and sought-after energy experts.
Stephen is a registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) with the National Futures Association.

The Ibis
Ibis folklore has it that other birds look to the Ibis for leadership.
The Ibis uses its instinct to detect danger. It is the last sign of wildlife to take shelter before a hurricane hits, giving warning that danger is imminent. As the storm passes the Ibis is the first to reappear, a sign that clear skies are approaching.
